No more wasted appointments for SMEs thanks to online calendar service

Small businesses can cut down on wasted appointments by up to 90% – with the help of online calendar software from tech company Libersy. The Dutch-based company recently signed a deal with RSTO Ltd, which sees the Edinburgh IT and marketing firm integrate Libersy’s ‘Calendar’ with its portfolio of website and online services for small and medium businesses (SMEs) in the UK. The Libersy Calendar increases the number of sales SMEs get by letting customers book appointments online whenever they want – leaving the SME owner free to get on with running the business. More than 40% of bookings made with Libersy Calendar are received outside conventional office hours.

By sending email and SMS reminders to the customer, giving them the opportunity to opt out of the appointment, slots are then free for other customers – cutting out time-wasting and expensive no-shows. There’s no need for a telephone call to book, confirm, cancel or pay.
